RUNNING FOR OFFICE:

Candidates planning to run in the 2024 Election Cycle must qualify, that is-submit various documents and/or fees, by these dates.

• Presidential candidates: Political party candidate, Independent candidates and write-in candidates have specific rules in Florida; (check Ballotpedia.org)
• Federal and Judicial Candidates: noon, April 22—noon, April 26, 2024
• All other Candidates Qualifying Dates: noon, June 10—noon, June 14, 2024

  • Broward County School Board: Districts 2, 3, & 5;  At-Large Seat 9
• Municipal Elections
  • March 19, 2024:  Hillsboro Beach; Lauderdale-By-The-Sea; Lazy Lake; Lighthouse Point; Pembroke Pines; Sea Ranch Lakes
  • Nov. 5, 2024:  Cooper City; Coral Springs; Dania Beach; Fort Lauderdale;  Hallandale Beach; Hollywood; Lauderdale Lakes; Lauderhill; Margate; North Lauderdale; Oakland Park; Parkland;  Pembroke Park; Plantation; Pompano Beach; Southwest Ranches; Sunrise; Tamarac; West Park; Weston; Wilton Manors; Pembroke Park has a referendum.
